Terms & Conditions – Event Tickets
Last updated: 20/09/2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to the purchase and use of event tickets sold by Pixel Arcade through its website.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Ticket Purchase
- Tickets are sold by Pixel Arcade for the specific event stated on the ticket or order confirmation.
- Before completing your purchase, you will be shown the relevant event information, including the event name, date, location, ticket price, and any applicable age restrictions or event-specific conditions.
- A ticket purchase becomes binding once the payment has been successfully completed and Pixel Arcade has confirmed the order.
- The ticket or order confirmation should be kept by the purchaser and presented when requested for admission to the event.
2. Ticket Delivery
Tickets will normally be delivered electronically to the email address provided during checkout.
The customer is responsible for providing a correct and accessible email address.
If you have not received your ticket, please contact Pixel Arcade before the event. You should not purchase another ticket solely because the original ticket email has not been received without first contacting us.
3. Ticket Validity
- Each ticket is valid only for the event, date, and, where applicable, time stated on the ticket.
- A ticket may normally be used only once.
- Once a ticket has been scanned or otherwise validated for admission, it cannot be used again.
- Customers are responsible for keeping their tickets secure and preventing unauthorised copying or use.
- Pixel Arcade may invalidate a ticket where there are reasonable grounds to believe that it has been duplicated, fraudulently obtained, altered, or otherwise unlawfully used.
4. Ticket Transfer
- Unless otherwise stated for a specific event, tickets may be transferred to another person for personal use.
- The person using the ticket must comply with all applicable event rules, including age restrictions.
- Where tickets contain the original purchaser’s name, Pixel Arcade may require reasonable evidence that the ticket was legitimately obtained or may require the ticket information to be updated before admission.
- Pixel Arcade may restrict or prohibit ticket transfers for particular events where this is clearly communicated before or at the time of purchase.
5. Ticket Resale
- Customers may transfer or resell their ticket to another person, including a friend or family member, provided that the ticket is transferred at no more than the original purchase price.
- Tickets purchased from Pixel Arcade are intended for personal use and may not be resold for profit without Pixel Arcade’s prior written permission.
- Pixel Arcade may restrict the use of tickets that have been resold in violation of these Terms & Conditions.
- Customers should purchase tickets only through Pixel Arcade’s official sales channels or other sales channels expressly authorised by Pixel Arcade.
- The original purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the person receiving the ticket is aware of any applicable event conditions.
- Pixel Arcade recommends that customers transfer tickets only to people they know and trust. Pixel Arcade cannot guarantee the validity of tickets obtained through unauthorised third-party sales or transactions.
- Where a ticket is transferred or resold in a manner that is prohibited for the relevant event, Pixel Arcade may refuse admission in accordance with the applicable event conditions.
6. Refunds and Customer Cancellation
Pixel Arcade’s refund policy applies to cancellations and refund requests.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, customers who are unable or choose not to attend an event are subject to the refund conditions published in the Pixel Arcade Refund Policy.
For tickets purchased through the Pixel Arcade website, Pixel Arcade currently offers a voluntary refund period of 14 days after purchase, subject to the conditions of the Refund Policy.
Tickets are non-refundable during the 14 days immediately preceding the scheduled event date, subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
7. Event Cancellation
If Pixel Arcade cancels an event, customers will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
Where an event is cancelled and Pixel Arcade does not provide the agreed event or an appropriate alternative, Pixel Arcade will provide any refund or other remedy required under applicable law.
Any applicable refund arrangements will be communicated to affected ticket holders.
8. Event Postponement or Changes
- Pixel Arcade may need to make reasonable changes to an event, including changes to the programme, performers, schedule, venue arrangements, or other operational details.
- We will communicate significant changes to customers where reasonably possible.
- If an event is postponed to another date, Pixel Arcade will inform ticket holders of the new date and whether existing tickets remain valid.
- Where applicable law gives customers a right to a refund or other remedy because of a postponement or significant change, those rights will not be excluded by these Terms & Conditions.
- Minor changes that do not materially affect the nature of the event do not automatically entitle the ticket holder to a refund.
9. Late Arrival
- Customers are responsible for arriving in sufficient time to complete any necessary admission or security procedures.
- Late arrival may result in delayed admission or temporary refusal of entry where necessary for safety, security, crowd management, or the proper conduct of the event.
- A ticket does not guarantee immediate entry after the event has started.
- Failure to attend or late arrival does not in itself create a right to a refund.
10. Admission and Refusal of Entry
Pixel Arcade reserves the right to refuse or withdraw admission where this is reasonably necessary and permitted by law, including where:
- The ticket is invalid, duplicated, altered, or appears to have been fraudulently obtained.
- The ticket has already been used.
- The visitor cannot comply with an applicable age restriction.
- The visitor is carrying prohibited items.
- The visitor behaves aggressively, threateningly, abusively, or disruptively.
- The visitor presents a genuine safety or security risk.
- The visitor refuses reasonable security checks required for the event.
- The visitor materially violates the event rules or these Terms & Conditions.
Where admission is refused because of circumstances attributable to the ticket holder, this will generally not create a right to a refund, subject to applicable law.
11. Age Restrictions
- Certain events may have minimum or maximum age requirements.
- Any age restriction applicable to an event will be communicated on the relevant event page and/or during the ticket purchase process.
- Customers are responsible for checking the applicable age requirements before purchasing a ticket.
- Where reasonable verification is required, visitors may be asked to provide valid proof of age.
- A ticket purchased by or for a person who does not meet the applicable age requirement may be refused at the entrance, subject to any applicable legal rights.
12. Prohibited Items and Conduct
For safety and security reasons, certain items may not be brought into an event.
Unless specifically permitted by Pixel Arcade, prohibited items may include:
- Weapons or objects that could reasonably be used as weapons.
- Illegal drugs or other unlawful substances.
- Fireworks, explosives, or other dangerous materials.
- Glass containers or other items presenting a safety risk.
- Items that could endanger other visitors, staff, performers, or property.
- Professional recording or photographic equipment where its use has not been authorised.
- Other items specifically prohibited for the relevant event.
The list of prohibited items may differ between events. Event-specific rules will take precedence where communicated to customers.
Visitors may be subject to reasonable security checks where necessary for safety and security.
13. Behaviour and Safety
Visitors must follow reasonable instructions from Pixel Arcade staff, security personnel, venue staff, and emergency services.
Pixel Arcade may take reasonable measures to protect visitors, employees, performers, and property.
Visitors must not engage in behaviour that creates a safety risk, substantially disrupts the event, or unlawfully interferes with other visitors’ enjoyment of the event.
14. Photography, Video and Recording
Photography and recording may take place during events for security, operational, promotional, or other legitimate purposes.
Where Pixel Arcade intends to use identifiable images of visitors for promotional purposes, any applicable privacy requirements will be observed.
Visitors must not make professional recordings or commercially exploit recordings of the event without prior permission from Pixel Arcade.
